Encrypted Audit Records
Your daily diary entries and temperature logs are encrypted in transit and at rest.
1. Information We Collect
When you register an account with Safe Kitchen, we collect your business name, account email address, kitchen equipment profiles, and daily operational check records (temperature logs, cleaning task sign-offs, and 4-weekly reviews).
2. How Your Data Is Used
Your information is used exclusively to operate your kitchen compliance dashboard, compile legally required food safety audits (SFBB / HACCP), and send critical reminder notifications (such as fridge temperature limit alerts).
3. Bluetooth & Device Permissions
The mobile app requests Bluetooth permissions strictly to communicate with wireless food thermometer probes during temperature checks. We never access location tracking or personal device data.
4. Account Deletion & Rights
Under UK GDPR and store guidelines, you have the right to erase your account and associated records at any time directly in the app settings under Settings → Delete Account & Data, or by submitting a request on our Account Deletion Page.
